Police Blotter — Week of Oct. 26. 

Oct. 29At approximately 12:19 a.m., Marcus Duval, 19, was reportedly observed falling over the curb in the area to the rear of Van Houten Dining Hall. Duval was stumbling and spinning around, unable to maintain his balance without assistance. It was determined that Duval was under the influence of alcohol and unable to take care of himself. Being under the legal age of 21, Duval was charged with underage drinking as well as public drunkenness. Local EMS was enlisted to aid in the evaluation of Duval’s physical condition.

Oct. 29At approximately 12:52 a.m., Amani Harms, 19, was reportedly observed staggering in the area of Doucette Hall. Upon further investigation, the officer determined that Harms was indeed under the influence of alcohol to such a degree that he could not care for himself. Being under the legal age of 21, Harms was charged with underage drinking as well as public drunkenness.

Oct. 29Building staff reported possible drinking occurring in Highlands 1106 at approximately 9:38 p.m. Upon arrival, officers reportedly observed several containers of alcohol. The individuals each admitted to possessing and having consumed alcohol. Being under the legal age of 21, the individuals were charged with underage drinking. Those occupants were as follows: Dejon Johnson, 19; Terra Johnston, 18; Heather Barrett, 19; Weslea Anderson, 19; Megan Ambler, 19; Jenna Bayer, 19; and Dimitri Allison, 19.

Oct. 30At approximately 1:30 a.m., Andrea Nickel, 18, was reportedly observed staggering along Scotland Road near the Pogue Student Center. Upon further investigation, the officer determined that Nickel was under the influence of alcohol to the degree where she could not care for herself. Nickel also admitted to having consumed alcohol. Being under the legal age of 21, Nickel was charged with underage drinking as well as public drunkenness. Local EMS was enlisted to aid in the evaluation of Nickel’s physical condition.

Oct. 30At approximately 2:02 a.m., an individual was reportedly observed passed out on a curb in the parking lot near Doucette Hall. The individual was identified as Christopher Dietz, 18, and he was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Upon taking Dietz into custody, a marijuana pipe was found in his pocket. Being under the legal age of 21, Dietz was charged with underage drinking as well as public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia.
