According to reports out of WICU 12, Jet 24 and Edinboro campus media on the scene, an alleged shooting has taken place at 144 Meadville Street in Edinboro. The initial reports state two victims are involved. One victim was reportedly "life-flighted" to the hospital, but status of both is unknown at this time. The campus is currently on lockdown and students are urged to seek shelter in their current location. The calls for help, according to WICU 12, came at around 10:40 p.m.
According to Jet 24, Meadville Street is blocked off from Lorna Lane to Schruers Lane. Stay tuned for further updates and follow The Spectator on Twitter for up-to-the-minute developments.

Edinboro University’s Department of English and Philosophy celebrated this year’s Chuck Palahniuk Writing Scholarship recipients with a virtual reading on Feb. 11.
Along with her coaching debut, it should be a busy spring. Middlebrooks is currently finishing up as a graduate student at Edinboro, as she’ll get her master’s degree in school counseling this May.
