Over the weekend the men’s tennis team picked up two more wins to extend their winning streak to six.
The first came on Friday against Charleston in an 8-1 victory at Westwood Racquet Club in Erie.
Vitor Albanese picked up his team-high 23rd victory on the season, improving to 23-2. Mateus Santos captured win number 17 on Friday, while Mauricio Santos and Thomas McCoy both notched straight-set victories.
Daniel Fernandez lost his first set, but came back to win the match with a 6-1 and 10-8 performance in the following sets.
On the day, the Scots won five of their six singles matches and all three of their doubles matches.
The duo of Albanese and Camilo Moncayo, ranked fifth in the region, improved their doubles record to 12-2 on the season. Fernandez and Mateus Santos won their teamhigh 15th doubles match and Kevin Mboko and Mauricio Santos moved to 13-1 with their victory and completed the sweep of the doubles matches.

The Fighting Scots made it six straight when they defeated West Virginia Wesleyan, 6-3, on Saturday.
Albanese picked up his 24th victory of the season while Mateus Santos, Mauricio Santos and Moncayo each picked up singles victories.
Albanese and Moncayo paired up for another doubles win against the Bobcats, while Santos and Fernandez defeated their opponents for the second doubles win of the day.
