The Edinboro University event planning class is hosting the second annual ‘Boro Fest this Friday, April 26. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and will continue until 9 p.m. in downtown Edinboro.
Attendees will have the option to participate in various contests and tournaments that will then generate proceeds to charities such as the ANNA
Shelter, Shriner’s Hospital and ‘Boro Women and Family Services. The contests include a wing-tasting contest, cornhole tournament and disc golf putting contest.
Local food trucks such as The Chameleon will provide food. Edinboro alumnus Jason Lavery of Lavery Brewing Company will provide beer.

With the Edinboro campus aiming for a fall 2021 reopening and housing applications now open for next semester, both the prospect of a safe campus and questions regarding COVID-19 vaccinations have come into focus. |

Edinboro University’s Department of English and Philosophy celebrated this year’s Chuck Palahniuk Writing Scholarship recipients with a virtual reading on Feb. 11.
Along with her coaching debut, it should be a busy spring. Middlebrooks is currently finishing up as a graduate student at Edinboro, as she’ll get her master’s degree in school counseling this May.
