Red Cross holds blood drive
On Thursday, the Community Blood Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania (NWPA) and Western New York (WNY) are hosting a blood drive at Edinboro University.
The blood drive will take place in the Pogue Student Center from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Participants who donate blood will be entered to win a $20 Amazon gift card.
The Community Blood Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York are the entire blood supplier for 20 hospitals and six Stat Medevac services in the region.
“Every donation can save the lives of three people, and it will help support the blood and plasma supply at local hospitals throughout Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York,” said Jaclyn Seymour, community relations specialist for the Community Blood Bank.
