The two victims are Edinboro students, as well. The victims' names have not yet been revealed, but they are reportedly 19 and 24-year-old males. One has reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh, and was in critical condition at UPMC Hamot, while the other suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was in serious condition.
The shooting occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. around 144 Meadville St. Stevenson is being held at Erie County Prison.

Edinboro University President Julie Wollman spoke to students in a recent email regarding the situation:

“I am sad and deeply troubled to report that both victims of last night’s off-campus shooting incident are Edinboro University students, as is the alleged perpetrator. It is important to note that this tragic incident is believed to be a matter between these individuals and not a random event.

The individual charged with the crime is in police custody, and we have acted immediately to suspend this student.”
