Top 6 must see fall movies

With so many highly anticipated movies coming out this fall, you’re more than likely to find yourself in a theater seat soon. Not only are there plenty of sequels hitting the big screen in the next few months, but there’s also remakes, originals and spin-offs you probably won’t want to miss.

Here are just some of the movies coming out soon that will have you splurging on that wildly expensive movie theater popcorn.

1. IT: Chapter Two
Pennywise will be making his return to the big screen on Sept. 6 “to torment the grown-up members of the Losers’ Club, who have long since drifted apart from one another.”

2. Joker
Set to release on Oct. 4, the world will finally get the backstory of the iconic villain known for his role in the Batman films and “Suicide Squad.”

3. Frozen 2
Seeing as the original “Frozen” was a huge success, it’s no surprise that there is finally a sequel set to be released on Nov. 22. According to the BBC, Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Josh Gad (Olaf) and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) “are all set to return to their respective roles, while Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K Brown have also joined the cast.”

4. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
With the well-respected and talented Tom Hanks starring as the beloved, late Mr. Rogers, the world will finally get a look into the life of the children’s show host, set to release on Nov. 22.

5. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil
On Oct. 18, Angelina Jolie’s role as the evil witch in Disney’s 2014 film “Maleficent” is revamped and “is going to involve Maleficent and Aurora making alliances to combat new enemies.”

6. Gemini Man
Starring Will Smith, this action drama will consist of a hit man facing off against a younger version of himself (both played by Smith and using de-aging technology). You’ll definitely want to save some theater time on Oct. 11 to be the first to see this thriller.
