Wayne Bradford out as Edinboro football coach

Edinboro Athletics announced the departure of Head Football Coach Wayne Bradford early Wednesday.

He leaves the Edinboro program after his third season as head coach and his 21st season as part of the overall coaching staff.

The news first broke on YourErie.com. In the press release from EU Sports Information, Athletic Director Katherine Robbins said, "Our program is moving in a new direction, and we will be looking for a new head coach to lead the Fighting Scots."

The Scots finished with a 3-8 record this season and were 16-17 under Bradford’s leadership.
