Bridgeport, Conn. - WFSE 88.9-FM, Edinboro University's student-run radio station, part of Edinboro Campus Media, is broadcasting the NCAA Divsion II Women's Soccer Sweet 16 match between #4 Edinboro and #6 East Stroudsburg on Friday, Nov. 20 at noon live from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The match is a re-match of this season's 2015 PSAC Championship and is the third time the Fighting Scots and the Warriors have clashed on the pitch this season. Boro won 2-1 on Senior Day at Sox Harrison Stadium back in the regular season and ESU was victorious in the PSAC Championship match at McConnell Family Stadium in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Warriors claimed their second-straight PSAC title as they won 2-1 in overtime.

East Stroudsburg earned the sixth seed in the NCAA tournament and faced fellow-PSAC foe, #3 West Chester in the first round. ESU defeated WCU 2-1 in overtime and then went on to serve #2 West Virginia Wesleyan its first loss of the season, 3-0, to advance to Friday's regional championship.

Edinboro earned the fourth seed in the region and battled #5 Charleston (WV) at Gannon. The marathon match, which included three lightning delays, was still scoreless after 110 minutes and headed to penatly kicks. The Scots advanced on penalty kicks, 3-1, the first time Boro has advanced past the first round of the NCAA tournament. On Sunday afternoon, head coach Gary Kagiavas's squad upset top-seeded and fifth-ranked Gannon for the second time this season. The Scots defeated the Golden Knights 2-1 in overtime with Halle Hammer netting the winner less than two minutes into overtime.

Edinboro enters the match with a 15-7-1 record while East Stroudsburg boasts a 11-4-5 mark.

The winner faces the winner of the second match in Bridgeport, the East Region Championship, between #1 Bridgeport and #2 Adelphi. Their match is set to begin at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The winners meet in the Elite Eight on Sunday at Bridgeport. That match begins at 1 p.m.
