Women’s volleyball goes 4-0 to win Hawks tournament

This weekend the Edinboro Fighting Scots women’s volleyball team participated in the Saint Anselm tournament. The Fighting Scots played in four games throughout the two-day tournament and won every contest. Against Bentley University, the Fighting Scots won 3-1 (18-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-18.) In their second match, against Saint Anselm College, the Scots came out on top after 5 games (21-25, 25-21, 25-21, 22-25, 15-11.) On Saturday, the Scots played in games against Nyack College and Assumption College. Edinboro wound up on top after three close games (28-26, 20-25, 25-23) it was the Fighting Scots who came up on top in the fourth match (25-14.)

In the fourth and final game Edinboro played in at the tournament, they won in three games (25-14, 25-18, 25a-12.)

The Fighting Scots will compete in the American International Tournament this weekend in Springfield, Massachusetts. They will return to McComb Fieldhouse on Sept. 22 to play against University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
