Many of the ideas Slade tackles within his videos have to do with racial inequality. One of his more well-known pieces, titled “Celebrity Activist,” was selected for the 2020 Erie Art Museum Spring Show.
Edinboro put in-class learning and activities on pause for 10 days following a spike in COVID-19 cases. The pause, which lasted from Feb. 26 to March 8, came after 66 students and 3 employees tested positive.

From Oct. 30 to Nov. 7, Tyler Hawes’ thesis exhibition, “Renaissance Black,” took over Bates Gallery in Loveland Hall. The title of the show speaks to its Renaissance influences, specifically from artists like Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Bruegel the Elder, and Titian.

DMX was a club record megastar, with songs like “Party Up (Up in Here)” and “Ruff Ryders Anthem” still actively on your local DJ’s playlist though they were released over 20 years ago.
A later email confirmed that the recognition ceremony will be held at Sox Harrison Stadium, rain or shine. In addition, those that attend will be allowed to bring two guests.
Remakes essentially put life and light into older movies. They make them socially acceptable to view in this decade by leaving the discrimination and the hate in the past.
