Arts editor Nathan Brennan previews the tenth year anniversity of the annual Michael V. Gmitter Art Scholarship.
“A Day in the life” will biograph the many locations across Edinboro University where students and staff congregate, noting the unique attributes of such locations, the people who frequent them, and why.
Doucette Hall’s Bruce Gallery recently hosted the Michael V. Gmitter Memorial Scholarship Exhibition in which senior art students at Edinboro University submitted their artwork for total scholarship prizes of $3,500.
The current show features William Thomas Thompson, who is a religious artist from Greenville, South Carolina. He drove from South Carolina to attend the opening night of the gallery on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
