General McLane School District has welcomed 9 new teachers to the district this year.
The formula used to take district dollars for these charters includes the costs we pay to maintain “brick and mortars,” as well as some services charters do not offer. So, the cyber charters have enough money leftover to accumulate large fund balances, pay for advertising, and provide huge profit for their parent companies (which provide the online content as a for-profit entity).
General McLane High School will be putting on a production of the Tony award winning show Nov. 19 through 22. Showtimes will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
