The Fighting Scots swimming squad discussed expectations for their upcoming season.

Nine swimmers posted PSAC qualifying times between the men and women in their first meet of the season at Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Friday.
The Edinboro women’s swimming team placed eighth overall and the men placed seventh at the PSAC championship meet that took place at the York YMCA in York, Pennsylvania from Feb. 21-24.
West Chester left nothing to chance this past weekend after their dominating performance over the rest of the PSAC, sweeping both the men’s and women’s swimming championships.
In the PSAC swimming championships, the Edinboro men’s and women’s swim teams captured fifth and seventh place finishes, respectively.
On Nov. 21, both the Edinboro men and women’s swim teams lost to Bloomsburg in a meet at the natatorium inside McComb Fieldhouse.
Both the men and women’s swimming teams defeated Allegheny College on Friday night, with the men winning 116-88, while the women captured a win with a score of 120-82.
It has been repeatedly stressed that Edinboro’s name will remain for this campus. In regard to the consolidated college, no new name has been agreed on, and it’s currently being referred to as the “Integrated University” and the “Western Integration project.”
This decision is based on recommendations from public health experts “regarding large-scale gatherings.” This is the third consecutive Edinboro graduation to be virtual.
The English department stated on Facebook that “he had been in the hospital fighting COVID-19 and recently seemed to be making good progress toward recovery.”
