
PennWest will test its emergency alert system, PennWest Shield, this week.
Testing will occur at the three campuses on the following dates and times:
PennWest Shield distributes vital information in emergency situations through text, email, and also on the PennWest Shield Safety App.
The PennWest Shield safety app is free and available to all through Google Play and the Apple App Store. In addition to receiving emergency alerts, the app includes advanced safety features, such as tip reporting, virtual escort, fingertip access to emergency procedures, and an emergency button.
